I got to do another dog rescue transport this weekend. Three dogs...going from Memphis to New Jersey. One standard poodle, an adult lab mix, and a lab mix puppy. My leg of the transport was about 100 miles. It's nice when people send pictures of the dogs or cats after they get into their new homes. This picture is of Doc, the standard poodle who rode "shotgun" in the MINI. Fun! Very smart dog.
Take a look at my wild attempt at trying to wrangle three dogs at potty time.
One of the things I love most about the MINI Cooper is the automatic induction into the MINI Cult. Most respectable MINI owners either wink their lights or wave at other owners. Occasionally I can overlook a daydreamer or a nosepicker, but in general it's good MINI manners to wink or wave! Smidget always says hello to fellow MINIs. It's part of the MINI Way!
I am a social worker. I am an artist. I am a writer. My kids are two cats and two dogs...a lot of my art is related to the human-animal bond because I have found so much joy and laughter in those relationships. I used to work as an editor and communications professional but went back to school to become a therapist and social worker.
